How do I know that private lessons are right for me?

Private lessons are a good fit for owners who have the time and consistency to actively participate in their dog's training. While sessions with a trainer provide guidance and structure, progress depends on what happens between lessons at home.

Ideally, owners should have a relatively stable schedule and be able to dedicate at least 15 minutes a day to practice what was taught during the previous session. These daily follow-throughs help with reinforcing learning, maintain clarity for the dog, and prevent confusion or regression. Private lessons works best when owners are engaged, willing to practice, and open to adjusting routines as needed. If you enjoy being hands-on and can commit to consistent practice, private lessons can be an effective and rewarding way to train your dog.

BUILD A STRONGER bond WITH YOUR DOG

Private lessons provide an opportunity to strengthen the relationship between you and your dog through communication and consistent interaction. By working together during your training sessions and at home, you learn how your dog responds, how to give effective cues, and how to guide behavior in a calm, structured way. This shared learning process builds trust and confidence on both sides, helping your dog look to you for direction while reinforcing your role as as a steady, reliable owner. Over time, this creates a stronger bond that extends beyond training into everyday life.
